About Me
Since the age of 5, when my parents made the fatal mistake of letting me ride Dumbo, a friend's shetland pony, I have been attached to a horse in some way. I never thought I would be lucky enough to work with horses for a job - but here I am.... and this is a short list of how I got here!
1999 - 2002
- Training for my BHSAI and role as Captain of Riding at Bryanston School in Dorset
- Competing at National schools events in dressage and showjumping, including Hickstead
- Sole charge groom at a private dressage yard schooling horses up to PSG, Hampshire
- Work Experience at the Garston Veterinary Group
2002 - 2003
- Teaching at Pony Club Camps in England and Connecticut, USA
- Full time instructor and competition groom at Cedar Crest Farm, New York, USA (1 year). Training international horse & rider combinations, competing at high level dressage and show-jumping and taking clinics with Eric Horgan, BHSI.

The above horse is owned by Helen Van der Voort who has since bought an Andalusian Stallion through me & imported him to America - please contact me if you would like details of how to go about finding a Spanish Horse and exporting from Spain.
2004
- I completed the first year of a Zoology degree at Bristol University in which I studied the evolution of all animals & psychology. I decided to change to a new programme, Veterinary Anatomy, also at Bristol University which I continue to study
- PA, Nanny and Groom in New York; I was given a youngster, Cody, to back and compete and taught the children and their mother lessons on their ponies.

2005 - Present
I started as a freelance instructor in April 2006 whilst I continued to study for my degree at Bristol, which I will complete in the summer of 2007.
- Work includes teaching, schooling of horses and taking in youngsters for training. I also introduce riders to the beautiful Spanish horses which I have come to know so well and love more than I ever thought I would
